We verify and send you the buyback amount
We confirm your order, look up the certified metal weight of your product, and check the published spot price of brass, copper, or kansa on that day. You'll receive the exact buyback amount by email within 24 hours.

You ship the product to us — we cover it
Once you confirm the amount, we send you a prepaid shipping label. Drop it off at the nearest courier point — there's no cost to you.

We transfer the amount within 3 business days
As soon as the product arrives with us, we transfer the full buyback amount via bank transfer or UPI. No deductions, no delays.
Why we can offer this
Because our products are made from pure, certified metal — not hollow castings or plated finishes. When you buy a Dhatu brass tumbler, it contains real brass all the way through. That metal has a market price today, tomorrow, and in twenty years. We're confident enough in the purity of what we sell to put a number on it. If we were selling brass-plated zinc like most of the market, we couldn't make this offer. That's the difference.
Common questions
Does the product need to be in original condition?
No. Pure metal develops a natural patina over time — that's not a defect, it's the metal breathing. Normal use marks are expected and are not a problem. The buyback value is based on the metal weight, not the appearance.
What if metal prices are lower than when I bought?
The buyback is calculated at the live rate on the day you write to us. Over long periods, brass and copper have historically held or appreciated in value — but we make a buyback guarantee, not a price guarantee. You will always get the fair metal value of your product.
Is there a minimum value or time limit?
No to both. Any Dhatu product is eligible regardless of its original price, and the buyback has no expiry. A product used for five years contains the same metal it had on day one.
Can I exchange instead of taking a cash buyback?
Yes. If you'd prefer to put the buyback value toward a new Dhatu product, we'll apply it as a store credit and add a small exchange bonus on top. Just mention this when you write to us.
How do I know the metal rate you're using is accurate?
We use publicly available published spot prices for brass and copper on the day of your request. We'll share the source with the buyback quote so you can verify it yourself.
